Each participant will fulfill the following: 1. Participant and at least one parent must attend the Banica Mandatory Meeting on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 7pm in the Gym. This will be a chance to meet all of the Missionaries and adults, relay extremely important information about Fundraising and the Banica program, and provide parents with a forum to discuss questions and concerns about Banica. 2. All youth are required to "work for Banica " by participating in fun draising events. Through fun draising activities we build the Christ-centered community that is essential for Banica. It's not only "fund"rising, but also "fun"draising which makes the difference. The Mulch Sale is the major effort and all Missionaries and one adult will be needed March 11 th -12 th . Fundraising totals will be mailed to you by April 1 st , 2016; this email will indicate if there is any balance due. 3. The opportunity exists for participants to solicit pledges on his/her behalf from family and friends. There will be a sample letter in your Banica binder which you will receive at the January 13 th Mandatory Meeting. This option is helpful in that the family is not bearing the full burden of the costs. All Pledges should be received in our offices by March 28 th , 2016 to ensure credit. 4. All Banica Paperwork is due NO LATER THAN February 24 th , 2016. 5. Mandatory Banica Retreat will be held at All Saints on Sunday JUNE 5th, 2016 from 1pm- 7:00pm . In addition, all Missionaries will attend a Commissioning Mass at 5:30pm followed by a Dinner. Attendance on this day is required in order to attend Banica . How You Get Fundraising CREDIT ☺☺☺ Through deposit, parish subsidy (if applicable), fundraising, and final payment, each youth and his or her parents are responsible for meeting this financial obligation. Full participation in the mulch sale fundraisers should yield $250-$300. Even more important, our fun draising efforts are an excellent way of making new friends and building community before Banica. Fundraising “points” are earned through participation. Missionaries are encouraged to participate fully so they have the opportunity to earn the maximum points possible.
