G İRİŞ 23-26 Temmuz 2003 tarihinde aletsel büyüklükleri 5.2 ve 5.6 olan iki orta büyüklükte deprem meydana gelmi ş ve bu depremler sonucu Buldan ilçesi ve yakın çevresinde yı ğma ve bazı betonarme yapılarda hasarlar meydana gelmi ştir. Ayrıca, deprem sonucu Buldan ve Güney ilçeleri arasında kalan bölgede önemli yamaç kaymaları meydana gelmi ştir. Buldan depremlerinin önemli bir özelli ği de, Türk ve Japon ara ştırcılar tarafından 2000 yılından günümüze kadar yürütülen uluslararası bir ara ştırma projesi çerçevesinde, depremlerin olu şumuna ili şkin çok parametreli veri ölçümlerinde Temmuz 2003 Buldan depremlerinin olu şumuna ili şkin verilerin deprem öncesinde elde edilmesidir. Bu çalı şmada, yukarıda yürütülen çalı şmalar deprem mühendisli ği açısından de ğerlendirilmi ştir. 1. İNCELEME ALANININ JEOLOJ İSİ İnceleme alanı Gediz ve Büyük Menderes grabenlerinin kesi şme alanında yer alır. İnceleme alanında Büyük Menderes ve Gediz grabenlerinin arasında kalan yüksek alanlar Buldan yükselimi (horstu) olarak adlandırılır ve bu yükselim alanlarında metamorfik birimler yeralır. Pliyosen ya şlı birimler ise daha dü şük yüksekliklerde metamorfik birimleri uyumsuzlukla yüzeyler. Kuvaterner ya şlı birimler nehir ve akarsu yataklarında biriken alüvyon, yamaç eteklerinde oluşan yamaç molozu, karbonatlı termal suların akı şı sonucu olu şan traverten ve alüvyon yelpazelerinden olu şur ve di ğer birimleri uyumsuzlukla örter ( Şekil 1). -

Among the samples, 34 (19 endemic and 6 non-native species) species belonging to 13 families were identified. The most dominant family in the river and its branches is the Cyprinidae with 20 species. Rhodeus amarus, Büyük Menderes River has been reported for the first time. Keywords: Anatolia, Great Meander River, ichthyofauna, endemic, non-native. Büyük Menderes Nehri (Türkiye) Balık Faunası: Taksonomik ve Zoocoğrafik Özellikler Özet Büyük Menderes Nehri balık faunasının taksonomik ve zoocoğrafik özelliklerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla 2010-2011 yılları arasında yapılan bu çalışmada balık örneklemeleri; elektroşoker cihazı, solungaç ağları, uzatma ağlar, ığrıp ve serpme ağı kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Örneklemeler sonucunda 13 familyaya ait 34 (19 endemik ve 6 yabancı tür) takson belirlenmiştir. Nehir ve kollarında en baskın familyanın 20 takson ile Cyprinidae familyası olduğu tespit edilmiştir. -
