Your input is needed to keep the Texas Department of Trans- portation from closing the Highway Barn located on Highway 83 in Wheeler. A town hall meeting was held May, 1999. The number of individuals expressing concern kept the TxDoT from closing the barn at that time. Once again YOU need to 'stand up and be counted'. The north half of Wheeler County needs this facility, especially in the winter months.
