STEP2 : Reserve a seat. Click “SERCH ROUTES” Choose the line, station of departure and arrival, departure time and other conditions. You chose the line “ Chuo Line Limited Express”, departure station is “Shinjuku”, arrival station is “Kami-Suwa”. And enter the boarding information. Then, click “SELECT TRAIN”. 3 Select and click a train No.. Select a station ticket window. ※You can collect the ticket only at the Midori-no-madoguchi (Reservation Ticket Office), View Plaza (Travel Service Center) or Information Center located in the major JR East stations. Enter the seating options. Review and confirm the rules. Click “ If you have not ~~ please click here.” 4 Click “AGREE” Enter your information and get USER ID. Then, login and accept the reservation information. If you arrived in Japan and visit a reservation ticket office (the Midori-no-madoguchi), please show the reservation information and get a limited express ticket. Taxi Train Price ¥11,900 (1 way) ¥ 9,130 (1 way, JR Line only) ¥8,820(1 way, Keisei+JR Line) Required time About 5.0 hours About 4.5 hours ・Using taxi service, you have to book in advance by the internet. http://chuotaxi.co.jp/publics/index/10/ ・If you take a train from Narita to Shijuku station, we have 2 ways. One is the JR Line Narita Express, the other one is the Keisei Line Skyliner limited express. We recommend you to use JR Line Narita Express. It is easier than the Keisei Line to go 5 to Shinjuku. Another option is taking a limousine bus to Shinjuku. ・When you take a train from Shinjuku to Kami-Suwa station, a limited express ticket is necessary. You can buy it at the station or reserve in advance by the internet. Notice: The internet reservation service for buying the ticket from Nagoya to Kami-Suw is only in Japanese. Please buy a ticket at Nagoya station reservation office. ・Access from Chubu Central Airport to Suwa-city by train takes 2 times transfer. 7 2) Access by taxi It is the same in 1. 2) 2-1). (page 1) 3) Access by train Take Meitetsu Line from the airport to Meitetsu-Nagoya station. The limited express trains run every half hour. After arriving at Meitetu Nagoya station, transfer to JR Line. JR Nagoya station is about 3 minutes on foot. Go to the Midori-no-madoguchi (Reservation Ticket Office) in JR station. Buy the limited express ticket from Nagoya to Kami-Suwa. After arriving Kami-suwa station, take a taxi. It is only about 5 minutes from Kami-suwa station to RAKO Hananoi Hotel by taxi, and the taxi fare is about 800 yen. Standard transfer route from Chubu Central Airport to Kami-Suwa city is below. Transfer from Shinano limited express to Azusa limited express at Shiojiri station. 8 .

    16 October 2019 Dear all, The disaster of recent Typhoon Hagibis has affected the access route between Tokyo and Suwa area. Recent report from JR and Highway companies suggest that the recovery of this access will take over one week. Therefore, the IWEMM10 organizing committee strongly recommends other routes in this access alternative to the previously released one on our website. To access from Narita International Airport (NRT) to JR Tokyo Station, please refer to previous release. If you use JR Narita Express train, please get off at JR Tokyo Station. If you use Keisei Skyliner Express, please change the line at Nippori Station (from Keisei to JR), and head for JR Tokyo Sta by Yamanote-line. How to access from JR Tokyo Station to Venue: (Charge is moderate but the timetable is not normal due to the ongoing recovery of this railway) 1. Tokyo Station – Nagano Station – Shiojiri Station – Kami-suwa Station (Suwa City) – Venue: At the ticket counter please buy train tickets from Narita Airport Sta to Kami-suwa Sta that includes four charges, i.e., basic charge (from Narita Airport Sta to Kami-suwa Sta) and express ones (from Narita Airport Sta to Tokyo Sta, from Tokyo Sta to Nagano Sta, and from Nagano Sta to Shiojiri Sta). 1.1: Tokyo Station → (by bullet train) → JR Nagano Station: Please get on the Hokuriku Shinkansen (named Asama, Hakutaka, or Kagayaki) and get off at Nagano Sta.
