This is also where the Land of Israel was divided into tribal areas, the source of the 15th Av celebrations as the Festival of Love and of course, the Tabernacle itself. A visit to ancient Shiloh offers a variety of experiences: touring the ruins, visiting the Seer's Tower with its interactive multimedia show and the Shiloh Chronicles Museum, the Tabernacle Hologram, bike rides, picnic areas, local hikes and an air-conditioned store and cafeteria. You can also book ancient crafts workshops, meals, events and more. www.a-shiloh.co.il/en 02-5789121

13 Kivrei Bnei Yisrael Biblical archeology site Route 437, Between Jerusalem and Adam This mysterious site is built from five large stone structures. The remains are dated from the time of our ancestors and there are those who even identify it as the burial place of our Matriarch Rachel on the border of the territory of Binyamin (Samuel 1, 10:2). Another theory suggests that these are the tombstones of those killed during the war over the concubine at Givah, which took place in this area and claimed thousands of victims (Judges 20).
