This joyful and fun evening benefits rescue animals (like us) from New Hanover, Brunswick and Pender Counties. The event will be held on August 24, 2019, from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm at The Terraces on Sir Tyler. Cleo and I got all glammed up for our cover shoot, but normally we’re quite casual at Pender Humane Society, which is where we’re living while waiting for a home. I’m a 6-month-old boy and every bone in my body is sweet, sweet, sweet! I never meet a stranger and I love to get attention. I play well with other dogs and am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Our high volume spay neuter clinic is looking to add relief and part-time veterinarians to our team.

Fix a Friend Spay Neuter Clinic in Winnabow, NC is looking for a part- time relief veterinarian who is able to cover for our other veterinarians when they are off. We are also looking for a part-time veterinarian for Mondays and Tuesdays only, every week. Must eventually be able to do up to 35 surgeries per day. Must arrive by 7:30am and work until surgeries are completed, usually between 3 - 4pm. Pay to be discussed.

Since the opening of our clinic in August of 2013, we have completed well over 50,000 surgeries and there is still such a strong need for continued spaying and neutering.

Sadly, I didn’t receive vet care for my leg until Chihuahua Rescue & Transport saved me in late March 2019. My leg has now been removed and I am a happy little guy. My foster mom says I am such a fun little guy and the fact that I have three legs does not slow me down!
