I can report since last month’s newsletter there have been no crime series or trends in our area but I would like to draw your attention to the following incidents of note.

• Godshill – Burglary of a business premises in the village. This incident is still currently under investigation and a person has been arrested for the offence. • Godshill – Burglary at a building site where the offenders have stolen plant machinery and fuel. The investigation is still ongoing and enquiries are still being conducted. • Wroxall – Theft from a motor vehicle where the offender has broken a car side window which was parked in St. Johns Road.

Business crime especially burglary is becoming more and more into focus and in many cases can be prevented by following a few simple steps to deter the opportunist and the more determined burglar. have number of crime prevention toolkits on their website to help prevent individuals and businesses becoming victims of crime.
