We're feeling the dog days of summer, and the kids are outside playing and having fun. Now's a good time to remind everyone the importance of being smart and staying safe in the summer heat.

Avoid heavy physical exertion outdoors in severe conditions.

Drink water every half hour.

Before, during, and after exercise, hydrate.

For more specific guidelines and recommendations, see our Weather Guidelines page. Coaches, we have “quick weather reference chart” available in the office. Don't have one yet? Pick one up!
