That on 29/01/2015 an incident of Murder of two ladies in flat No.10 Shree Kamat Palace Housing Society, Mangoor Hill Vasco was reported at Vasco Police Station. In this regards an offence vide Vasco P.S. Cr. No. 20/15 u/s 449, 307, 302 r/w 34 IPC registered. The Murder of two ladies had created sensation in State of Goa and especially in Vasco city. Accordingly on 30.01.2015 a Special team was constituted for conducting in depth investigation of the case and after due efforts by the investigation team the case was detected on 03/02/2015 and main culprit was arrested on 02/02/2015 and subsequently the stolen Jewellery & cash was recovered. The case was detected in short period of time i.e in 04 days by the team efforts along with the help of officers of the Crime Branch who worked day and night in detecting the case. 2. Marg from Divja Circle to Miramar Circle shall be closed for general vehicular traffic from 5.00 am to 1.00 p.m. Further Jack Sequeira Road from Miramar Circle to NIO circle shall be closed for vehicular traffic from 5.00 am to 4.00 p.m. Similarly right hand side lane of Dona Paula-Raj Bhavan Road from NIO Circle up to the third lane of La Marvel Colony shall be closed for vehicular traffic from 5.00 am to 4.00pm. Left lane of Dona Paula road from NIO Circle up to All India Radio Main Gate, Bambolim will be closed for vehicular traffic from 5.00 am to 4.00p.m. The other lane will carry two way traffic. FRANCIS XAVIER FEAST Panaji: November 22, 2019 Agrahayana 1, 1941 The feast of St. Francis Xavier at Old Goa will be held on December 3, 2019 and Novenas will be held from November 24, 2019 to December 2, 2019. As the Feast and Novenas attract a large number of devotees, traffic arrangements have been made, to avoid inconvenience. On the route from Panaji to Old Goa via Ribandar, there will be Special Buses to ferry passengers. The Special Buses from Panaji to Old Goa will proceed via Ribandar and on reaching Dempo Engineering at Old Goa, will take left turn to enter the Bhakia Property for parking at Bhakia Bus Stand. The Two Wheelers and Four Wheelers, on reaching Dempo Engineering at Old Goa will take left turn to enter Bhakia property for parking. Vehicles having VIP Car Pass will be allowed to come up to the entry road and will be parked in VIP Parking Lot. The vehicles carrying the differently-abled will be allowed to come up to Old Goa Church Junction and park their vehicles in the open space opposite Sulabh Sauchalaya near Old Goa Panchayat. The vehicles parked in Bhakia property and in the open space opposite Sulabh Sauchalaya near Old Goa Panchayat on their return journey to Panaji, will take the same route via Ribandar. On route from Panaji to Old Goa via Kadamba By-Pass, Panaji to Ponda Route Buses will not be allowed to proceed via Ribandar.
