Tours depart daily The Grange on Kalgan Eco Experience Half Day Tour A half day eco-tourism experience of 4 hours visiting “The Grange on Kalgan” – a 12.5 acre small farming and lifestyle property over- looking the magnificent Kalgan River valley located 22kms from the City of Albany. Tours depart daily. TOUR INCLUDES: • Visit some spectacular scenery in Albany before learning about the eco-systems at Oyster harbour, the fish traps and then walking along the famous “Luke Penn” walk which is right on our doorstep. • View sustainable practices with solar energy supply, free range chickens, recycled materials, organically grown produce with orchards containing citrus, stone fruit, apples, figs, avocados, mulberry, macadamia, different berries and complemented by an olive grove. • Extensive plantings of native flora and landscaping has created conservation reserves, garden beds, pathways, water features, Japanese Garden, artificial pond with waterfall, “dry” creek beds, billabong and frog ponds. • Prospector’s camp and diggings (reminiscent of the E Goldfields) with over 50 different bird species being identified on the property. • Afternoon tea served with a glass of wine available from the outdoor entertaining area overlooking the Kalgan River.
