I have heard from people that I hadn't heard from for a long time; I’m so blessed. I really enjoyed the articles in the December issue. The articles were very well written. I mailed a copy to my friend in North Carolina and my friend in Florida. My painting keeps me busy and thinking and God helps me through my troubles. Thanks again.” – Sherry Rorick “Hello, I always enjoy glo very much, except until this hunting article. I have to keep the picture covered! Beautiful little girl, holding up the head of a beautiful dead deer. Yes, one can say they are with nature; God provided us the means for the food; we need to cull the herds, etc. I can't be convinced how a beautiful deer can be killed and "be with nature" despite using it for food. I grew up on a farm; my dad was a hunter. Hated it then, hate it now. And I even ended up on a rifle team in high school but could never shoot at an animal. Dating a hunter wasn't an option either. The farm animals were all my friends, could never raise and show an animal in 4-H that would end up on someone's plate. Would have felt like a traitor. One can argue there are too many deer. Yes, there are, but we are moving more and more into their territory. I became a vege- ow that the holiday rush is winding down, if not all but tarian in high school, and so far my kids are vegetarian. Thanks!” “Nover, it’s time to hibernate the rest of the winter away, – Annette Reifsteck-Chalk, Roanoke right? If only!
