Název diplomové práce: Vliv investic na nákup hráčů na sportovní výsledky u vybraných klubů Premier League Abstrakt: Diplomová práce se zabývá zjištěním, zda a jak silný existuje vztah mezi sportovními výsledky vybraných fotbalových klubů a množstvím finančních zdrojů alokovaných na nákup nových hráčů a zjištěním množství finančních prostředků, které kluby vynaložily na zisk jednotky úspěchu. Na základě těchto zjištění pak je cílem práce rovněž formulovat charakteristiky hospodaření vybraných klubů v oblasti přestupů. V rámci naplňování cílů je zvolen postup, který obsahuje jednak přehled dosavadních výzkumů a teoretická východiska, jednak charakteristiku Premier League a vybraných klubů včetně zjištění rankingu těchto klubů a jednak samotnou analýzu vztahu prostřednictvím lineární regrese a vypočtení efektivity. I remember my first appearance alongside John Beresford at Gosforth High School like it was yesterday. To look at where the campaign is today and reflect on how far it has come, how many students have been given the confidence to look further than culturally imposed horizons, to express their own fears, concerns, and share in each other’s triumphs, has been the true reward of the thankless work of the hundreds of campaign workers, players, managers and volunteers through three decades. Women and men who themselves have grown through their own interactions with the kids over the years. I’d like to thank the sponsors, contributors and those who have and continue to donate to the campaign. Your support cannot be measured in mere financial terms. How do you put a price tag on hope, encouragement and empowerment? I’d like to take a special moment to thank those teachers, educators and school administrators who were open to the idea of introducing SRTRC, and our materials into your classrooms.     Category: Low Budget Campaign Company: Foundation of Light Entry title: Give a Quid to Tackle Mental Health Brief and objectives: Foundation of Light (FoL) is the registered charity of Sunderland AFC (SAFC) which delivers over 40 sport, education, employability and health programmes across the north east. Community fundraising is a growth area for the charity with SAFC fans seen as a target audience. Brief: Create a highly visible fundraising campaign with measurable success which resonates with fans. Objectives: • Fundraise £30,000 for Foundation of Light programmes • Increase fan engagement with Foundation of Light. The idea, research and planning: We undertook qualitative research with several key organisations, including other football community foundations, as well as hosting focus groups with supporters. Key feedback was that the campaign had to have a simple message and be easy for SAFC supporters and businesses to engage with. Research also showed that a renewed sense of community spirit was prevalent amongst fans in Sunderland, as a result of the change of ownership in 2018 and a focus on a “one club” mentality – fans, owners, staff, players and Foundation all working together for the benefit of the club and the community. Given the demographics of Sunderland, and low average income and levels of disposable income, it was important that the campaign was inclusive for all. A fundraising target was to raise £30,000 from the launch of the campaign to the end of the season. Annually, SAFC gift the FoL a themed match day, with a range of branding and promotional opportunities available to the Foundation to raise awareness of our work which historically raises £12-18,000.

Mattias Holm 930705 Michael Remnefors 920629 Abstrakt I denna uppsats undersöks huruvida en ökad avkastning i form av poängskörd, som tolkning av målskillnad, kan förväntas vid tränarbyte under en pågående säsong i den högsta divisionen av engelsk fotboll. Med Stefanis (1997) modell och ett Z-test på den genomsnittliga effekten av ett tränarbyte, behandlas 16 efterföljande säsonger från och med 2001/02 till och med 2016/17. Resultatet påvisar en ökad avkastning av poäng i 13 av dessa 16 säsonger och statistiskt stöd på 1% signifikansnivå.
