There are a number of requirements which everyone attending, in any capacity must comply with, with no exceptions permitted. The requirements are in place for the health and safety of everyone using the venue. Vaccinations, testing and the wearing of face coverings will apply for our show in addition to maintaining the 1m+ social distancing guidelines. To further clarify the requirements around COVID vaccinations and lateral flow tests, the following will apply: - • Everyone in attendance will need to provide proof of double vaccination the result of a negative lateral flow test within 24 hours of the show. • Proof of vaccination can be via the NHS App or by a confirmation letter which can be obtained by calling 119. Please consider that it will take several days for a document to be issued. • Lateral flow tests must be taken within 24 hours prior to the show. The result of the lateral flow test should be reported via: https://www.gov.uk/report- covid19-result. This will generate a confirmation email and text message confirming your negative status. We will not have lateral flow tests available on the day,so please ensure you are able to take a test prior to the show. You can obtain tests,free of charge from https://www.gov.uk-order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests We will ask to see proof of both vaccine status and lateral flow test result prior to vetting in. Any attendee not providing this proof, cannot be admitted into the show hall. By entering the show, all attendees confirm that they agree to comply with all Government regulations which may be in place on the date of the show; in addition to any venue and any Wyvern Cat Club specific requirements which may be imposed for the comfort and safety of all. All attendees confirm that they participate at their own risk and understand that neither the Wyvern Cat Club, GCCF, or the venue accept any liability. Please read these notes carefully, you will need to be fully aware of them. They apply to all exhibits and exhibitors. The hall layout will be planned to enable and encourage social distancing,with every cat having a double pen. There will be a limit on numbers of both people and cats, which means that if the numbers are reached before the published closing date of 13th August, later entries will not be accepted. Class upgrades will be accepted for any titles gained at the GCCF Celebration Show on 14th August. Please email Anna McEntee email [email protected] no later than 16th August if you need to make a change. Please note no new entries or other amendments to existing entries will be made after 13th August. Two free entrance passes will be given to each exhibitor with no further passes are available. The show will NOT be open to the public. There is plenty of free car parking immediately outside of the venue. The show manager reserves the right to reallocate any class to an alternative jjudge to that published in the schedule, should it become necessary. After closing date of the show, there will be no refunds of entries given for any circumstances should any exhibit or exhibitor not be able to attend the show. In the event that the show does not go ahead for any reason, the Wyvern Cat Club will refund 50% of the entry fee paid only. AWARDS OLYMPIAN Ch or Pr - Rosette for Winner & Reserve & for all entries IMP Gr Ch or Gr Pr - Rosette for Winner & Reserve places Gr Ch or Gr Pr - Rosette for Winner & Reserve places BREED CLASSES - Rosettes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd places (inc Assessment) BEST of BREED - Special Rosette BEST of VARIETY (inc HP) - Special Rosette OVERALL BIS (Ped) - Special Award plus additional Certificate OVERALL BIS (HP) - Special Award Plus additional Certificate Note:- An overall BIS winner will be awarded a further certificate for the title it is working towards, including Olympian certificates. The award will be validated by the GCCF Office and the certificate signed and sent from there. It will count towards the total required, regardless of whether that the BIS judge is was eligible to judge the winner’s breed or title class. No certificate will be awarded if the BIS winner is a kitten. Awards are given out on the day on the understanding, that in the event of a subsequent disqualification by Council, they will be returned in good condition, when requested. Entries and payment should be made online through your GCCF account. • Log in to your account • Go to My Cats, then Select a cat, • Then select show entry from the top menu bar and follow the prompts. • Please make sure when completing your entry, that you indicate in the comments field, the name of anyone attending. Vetting In Vetting in will take place between 08.15 and 09:30 Please have all vaccination certificates ready to show to the veterinary surgeon Judging will commence at 10.00 Duty Veterinary Surgeon Mrs S Moreland Veterinary Surgeons and Nurses TBA SHOW RULES AND REGULATIONS This Show is held under Licence granted by the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy and is therefore subject to the Rules of the Council. A copy of the Rules may be obtained from the GCCF, 5 Kings Castle Business Park, The Drove, Bridgwater TA6 4AG, or from the GCCF website. All Exhibitors should be aware of the Regulations contained within Section 4 of the Rules; ignorance will not be accepted as an excuse for breach of the Rules. SHOW ENTRY It is your responsibility to ensure that the correct details, taken from either the Registration or Transfer Form, are given for your Exhibits, and that they are entered in the correct Classes. VETTING IN Vetting In slips will be given out at the entrance to Vetting In. All exhibits must be presented to a Veterinary Surgeon for examination, between 8.00 a.m. and 9.30 a.m., prior to being penned. Please have the exhibits vaccination certificate ready to show to the veterinary surgeon. All cats exhibited at this Show, which is held under GCCF Rules, must have a current certificate of vaccination against FIE, FVR and FCV (“cat flu”). The full primary course (first set of vaccinations) in accordance with the manufacture’s recommendations must have been completed more than seven days before the Show. Booster vaccinations against FIE, FVR and FCV must be given at the manufacturer’s recommended intervals. Where a variable interval of 1 – 3 years for FCV and FHV is recommended the minimum interval applies. i.e. all cats attending shows MUST receive annual booster vaccinations against FCV and FHV. For Boosters ONLY, note: Exhibitors are advised to leave at least a week between a booster vaccination and show attendance to allow the vaccine to take effect and in case of any adverse reaction. Cats without a valid vaccination certificate will be rejected under Section A of the Veterinary Rejection form, unless the exhibitor undertakes to provide proof of vaccination, valid for the show, by sending the certificate to the GCCF Office within seven days of the Show. Failure to do so will lead to disqualification from this Show and the cat’s name will be placed on the veterinary rejection list until proof of vaccination is received in the Office. PLEASE NOTE: Homeopathic vaccinations are not acceptable for the purpose of showing.
