Agreed: S Silver would confirm which location John Harvey had been referring to. 4 Local Issues - General Discussion Mr Smith raised concerns about the roundabout connecting Briar Hill with Camp Hill. He considered this to be very dangerous as it was not protected by a speed limit and had very bizarre signage and road markings. Mr Smith added that there was also far too much traffic on the dual carriageway. Agreed: Councillor Hugheston-Roberts would liaise with John Harvey about this matter. 5 NBC Budget Consultation S Silver advised that the Borough Council’s budget was not yet ready for consultation.

Arriving by bus National and regional coach services operate to Northgate Bus Station, located in Northampton town centre. There are regular bus services running from the Town Centre or Northampton Railway Station (on Black Lion Hill) to the Claret Car Park 50 bus stop outside HellermannTyton. Stagecoach Bus service 50 makes 12 to 14 journeys each way during the day. 19 Alternatively Uno Bus services 19 and 19b return to Northampton 19b Train Station and Town Centre every 12-15 minutes. If you don’t mind a short 0.5 mile walk, many buses stop at the St James End, opposite Byfield Road Bus Stop and its a 10 minute walk from there to HellermannTyton. After exit for Brackmills/Hotel, the road again goes to 3 lanes, move to left-hand lane which will flow into slip road for Queen Eleanor Interchange (signpost Sixfields, Hunsbury, Hardingstone). Move to middle lane on slip road (road marking Ring Road West). Keep in lane and follow road round which will enable an exit off the roundabout at 4thexit (signposted Sixfields A45(A43)); will now be in left-hand lane on the Mere Way dual carriageway (40mph). Stay in lane and continue to large roundabout (Tesco Superstore on left). Take 2nd exit (1st after Tesco entrance) signposted Hunsbury and Crematorium. Take first turn left into Clannell Road; then immediately left into Overslade Close; then immediately right into Church car park (which is shared by Library). Approach from the South (M1, J15) on the A45 (London Road/ Nene Valley Way) After leaving M1 motorway, following signs for Northampton, continue along dual carriageway and after the Local Services (Shell Garage) be ready in the left-hand lane to exit off for the signposted Queen Eleanor Interchange.
