This was Thematic Module 03: Heritage as Pillar of Sustainable Development, with guest speakers

heritage experts Ar. Jayson Braza Portem and Ar. Mary Rajelyn Javier-Busmente. At the event, District Director Ar.Reginald Yaneza and CIA-Gen.Welfare Committee Chair Ar.Cath

Garcia, upon having complied already with the requirements, promoted the upcoming CIA- Gen.Welfare-RDA5 Collab Grand Architects' Business Summit Event. Ar.Reginald also officially announced the recently NBD-approved two new A5 member chapters UAP

Bagumbayan and UAP Pasig-Kapitolyo Chapters, and their upcoming chartering event dates, and an upcoming get-to-know, welcome, and orientation luncheon by RDA5 for the two new chapters.

Also discussed during the event was District A5's series of upcoming November media radio & TV engagements, to promote Get an Architect, RA9266, the upcoming Business Summit event, and the Dec. NAW celebration.

Ar.Reginald, thru DDD Ogie, also, extended UAP's call for help for the Mindanao earthquake victims, that besides help from the district, that all individual A5 chapters join in and help.

Marvalley responded fast, strongly, and positively for both the Business Summit, and UAP's call for humanitarian help, and poured in event attendee pledges, and monetary donations.

architects who are engaged in design and build, and wanted to develop the business side of being an Architect.

These was evident during the Q&A/Open forum portion of the talks as the attendees asked lots of

questions mostly the actual experiences they were having in their business.

After the event, Ar.Cath Garcia promoted the District A5’s upcoming Architects’ Business Summit 1.0 at Joy Nostalg Suites and Hotel.

In photos with us, co-ambassadoring for the GET AN ARCHITECT info campaign, were the guest top5 grand winners of Ginoong Pilipinas 2019, and top3 Tawag ng Tanghalan winner MOR disk jockey &

singer Ms. Ana Ramsey. There also at the GGV taping, were of course, bankable host & comedian actor Vice Ganda, celebrity

guests American Idol 1st runner-up international recording/performing artist Ms. Jessica Sanchez, PBB Otso Teen winner Fumiya, Tawag ng Tanghalan top3 finalists DJ Ana Ramsey (3rd), actress singer Ms. Roxanne Barcelo (2nd), and comedienne singer grand champion Ms. Ethel Booba.

At the online pre-show (non-televised, but viewable online later on), I was made by jester stand-up comics Chad and Pepay to sing one whole song on stage (my staple repertoire James Ingram's jazz hit Just Once).

Then afterwards I got to acknowledge/introduce my companion RDA5 delegates. We promoted the UAP as a professional organization, and its professional advocacy campaign GET AN ARCHITECT to the raving audience and artists in attendance.

We were asked by the jester hosts what types of projects we have personally done, and what architects usually do. We answered. The hosts were then both fast to quip to expressedly agree to the message

conveyed of our GET AN ARCHITECT slogan. After the segment, one lady studio audience consequently & immediately asked for any one of our business cards, for her current plan and design requirement.

There also in the ABS-CBN premises were PBB Otso Teens Reese & Lee (in photo with us), Andre Brouillette & Lou Yanong, theater actor & producer Mr. Karlo Orosa, and TV news & current affairs host

Mr. Gus Abelgas.

Although busy and all, with serious matters like the RA9266 and architectural permits lobbying, CSR's, WAD, NAW, and the upcoming business of architecture summit, UAP RDA5, on a lighter note, was still

able to squeeze in, on the sidelines, pushing the envelope even further in the Get an Architect advocacy campaign promotions, thru fun, innovative, and dynamic means. Sparsely between July and November, we took the pains of conscienciously taking on a mass media

mileage campaign, raising the bar farther, thru directly engaging relatively well-known TV, radio, print, and online personalities, capitalizing on their popularity and social media following, to help us promote to the masses the Get An Architect awareness program, thru hashtag #CelebritiesForArchitects #GetAnArchitect movement.

The United Architects of the Philippines Pasig Chapter in collaboration with the UAP RDA5 visited the City Goverment of Pasig in the new administration of Mayor Vico Sotto. The team discussed the concern

about the implementation and enforcement of the provisions of RA 9266, otherwise known as the Architecture Act of 2004, and its implementing rules and regulations and the accreditation of the organization as NGO. In addition, the Pasig Chapter introduce the Arki Help Desk to educate the community about the awareness of our profession.
