One county is having a real problem with babies catching COVID-19. 85 infants tested positive for COVID-19 since March. 60 of the cases are from July alone. Annette Rodriguez, Director of the Nueces County Health Department, says the numbers are disturbing. Health experts say keep your new baby at home and try to avoid inviting anyone over to meet the little one. OUTCUE: wear your mask. 13 Nuns Dead After COVID-19 Attacked Michigan Convent AUDIO: Sister Noel Marie Gabriel SOCIAL MEDIA: Photo LENGTH: 00:00:04 LEAD: Thirteen nuns at a Roman Catholic convent in Michigan have died of COVID-19 complications since the outbreak began. That's 22 percent of its residents. The nuns ranged in age from 69 to 99 and included teachers and an author. One of the sisters says the pandemic first hit two people on the first floor of the convent, but once it hit the second floor, it went through like wildfire. 17 nuns who also got the virus have recovered. As the COVID- 19 death toll climbs, people are getting fed up with lack of leadership. So grieving family members are writing what’s being dubbed ‘Honest Obituaries.’ One about a nurse reads, “Her undeserving death is due to the carelessness of the politicians who continue to hedge their bets on the lives of healthcare workers.” Another says, “His death is due to the carelessness of the politicians’ refusal to acknowledge the severity of this crisis.” Family members tell Inside Edition they want to be sure their loved ones aren’t just a statistic. His November opponent Joe Biden is no different. But the former Vice President was mocked on social media for a comment he made about President Trump during a virtual town hall event. Biden said Trump was the first racist to successfully get elected into office. But surviving documents show that at least 12 U.S. Presidents owned slaves, and users on social media were quick to point out that there have been plenty of racist presidents in the past. What’s a 51/50? Psychiatrist Dr. Charles Sophy explains it’s a California law under which someone can be involuntarily hospitalized for 72 hours if they appear to be experiencing a mental health crisis. Broadway actor Nick Cordero suffered a lengthy and brutal battle with COVID-19 before ultimately succumbing to it earlier this month. His wife Amanda Kloots announced on Instagram that she was excited to release a live recording of his one-man show, 'Live Your Life' from April 2019. She said, "Nick would be absolutely thrilled to hear this news."
