Positive Education and Grow Model The wellbeing of our students is something that the BSHS Section takes very seriously. The Core programme is designed with the wellbeing of the students at its heart. International Baccalaureate Curriculum and Results The 'Five Ways to Wellbeing’ of Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give combined with the School Values of Respect, Perseverance, Creativity, Respon- sibility and Participation create the foundation for all that is done in the Core lessons. H3 and H4 students (Year 12 and Year 13) complete the two-year International Baccalaureate programme, cumulating in the In Core lessons students learn how to cultivate their own personal wellbeing, character strengths and mental toughness through an evidence based, research driven International Baccalaureate Diploma. Positive Education curriculum. The Positive Education movement which underpins the school’s wellbeing strategy has shown that by adopting the five-step PERMA model (Positive Emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning & Purpose, Accomplishment), students will achieve improved wellbeing, as well as improved academic Students take six subjects, three of which are at Higher Level and three of which are at Standard Level. Taipei European School Summer Experiential Learning Programme (SELP) Group1: This is a voluntary internship programme targeted at H3 students (age 17-18 years old).
