Isaac Morley Farm Kirtland, Ohio, United States of America Isaac Morley joined the Church in Kirtland (November 1830), one of the first converts of the area. He was later called to serve as a counselor to the presiding bishop, Edward Partridge in 1831. His farm served as the principal gathering place of the Saints in Kirtland after the revelation for the Saints to gather to the Ohio was given in Doc- trine & Covenants Section 37.1 Also, while living on the Morley Farm, Joseph and Emma had twins who passed away shortly after being born.
