Enrollment 97% full-time representing approximately 32 states and territories and 11 countries. 78% of full-time undergraduates reside in College housing. Faculty 69 full-time faculty. (96% of full-time faculty hold the Ph.D. or other terminal degree.) Student: Faculty Ratio is 9:1 Location Lynchburg, Virginia, a city of 76,000 and a metropolitan area of 252,000 near the Blue Ridge Mountains in central Virginia. Campus The main campus comprises 100 acres near the James River in a residential section of Lynchburg. Curriculum Features The College offers degrees at the Bachelor’s and Master’s level, and has 30 major programs, 43 departmental and interdisciplinary minors, writing intensive curriculum, pre-professional preparation, and a dual-degree program in engineering.
