Here East Meets West” Application for LXXV International Council Meeting Spring 2019 Baku, Azerbaijan “Let’s meet where East meets West” ELSA Azerbaijan is the most eastern and one of the youngest members of ELSA (founded in 2011). We have always been an active member of the network holding 1 international meeting of ELSA (IPM Baku 2015) and holding many local and international events ever since, including the biggest summer law school of the network in 2016, 2 huge Summer ELSA Law Schools (2015 and 2017), many bilateral, multilateral study visits and many more national events. After attending a lot of international ELSA events our team is highly motivated and we really want to take a bigger step in a bigger scope. Organizing the biggest International event of ELSA is a quite hard task, but we believe that we can do it. ELSA Azerbaijan is capable and ready for this challenge. Our goal is to get more into the internationality, and give back to Association which helped us to get where we are in our lives at the moment. Our country is both financially and geographically suitable for organizing ICM. Due to devaluation that happened twice in one year (2015) value of the Azerbaijani manat decreased and according to current currency manat is 2 times cheaper than euro – which means it allows us to organize this ICM in better physical environment and provide our guests with everything’s best, because they deserve it. Our dedication and love for the Association, for the whole ELSA Network inspired and motivated us to take this big step and to host an ICM. ELSAfully yours, National Board of ELSA Azerbaijan Venue and Accommodation Azerbaijan is the largest country in the Caucasus region of Eurasia. It is divided partially between Eastern Europe and Western Asia. Caspian Sea lies on its eastern side. Baku is the South Caucasus’ largest and most cosmopolitan metropolis. Few cities in the world are changing as quickly and nowhere else in Eurasia does east and west blend as seamlessly as here. Its elegant center, pedestrianized tree-lined streets are increasingly filled with exclusive boutiques. ICM will take place at Bilgah Beach Hotel at seaside. The hotel is located in 10 minutes from the airport. The hotel has rooms fully-equipped for plenaries and workshops. There are 175 sea-facing rooms, wireless internet access, cafes and bars. How to get to Baku The most convenient way to get to Baku is by plane. Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD) is situated 25 km (15 mi) from Baku city centre. It is served by major airlines including Aeroflot, Austrian Airlines, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa and Qatar Airways, and a whole host of smaller airlines. The e-Visa to Azerbaijan is issued within 3 (three) working days. The necessary data required for the e-Visa should be entered directly into the system. The fee for the e- Visa is paid electronically via the system. The e-Visa is sent to the e-mail address of an applicant. You can get the e-visa in just 3 steps (apply, pay and download e-Visa) via the Portal. While their overall track record is mixed, air passes have succeeded in the past at stimulating tourism in several regions, particularly regions that were suffering from high one-way air fares. In recent years one-way air fares have declined significantly in most regions, limiting the appeal of air passes.

Tickets and EMDs that were issued for flights of Azerbaijan Airlines and Buta Airways, which were to be operated on the flight dates from March 10 to October 25, 2020 and were not performed (except for special flights): 1.1 Conditions for changing the date of departure, regardless of the date of passenger's request: • OW tickets can be changed to any date within 24 months from the date of departure in the original ticket. • Completely unused RT tickets - can be changed to departure dates no later than 24 months from the departure date of the first flight segment. • Partially used tickets can be changed for the departure date no later than 24 months from the date of departure of the unused flight segment. 1.2. Each ticket can be rebooked without penalty only once. (Rebooking) 1.3. All subsequent changes have to be processed in accordance with applicable fare rules of initial ticket 1.4.     Press Release CAE awarded contracts by Azal and Turkish Airlines for six full flight simulators valued at approximately $75 million Montreal, Canada, June 6, 2013 – CAE (NYSE: CAE; TSX: CAE) today announced that it has sold six full-flight simulators (FFSs), three to Azal (Azerbaijan Airlines) and three to Turkish Airlines. Azerbaijan Airlines has purchased simulators for the Embraer 190 E-Jet, Sikorsky S92 helicopter and AgustaWestland AW139 helicopter. Turkish Airlines has purchased simulators for the Boeing 737NG, Airbus A320 and Airbus A330 aircraft. The simulators, if sold including original aircraft equipment manufacturer (OEM) data, parts and equipment, would be worth approximately C$75 million at list prices; most of these simulators included OEM data, parts and equipment furnished by the customers. These are the first six FFS sales announced by CAE for fiscal year 2014 which began in April. “We are pleased to continue to grow our relationship with Turkish Airlines and to welcome Azerbaijan Airlines as a new customer to CAE,” said Marc Parent, President and Chief Executive Officer. “Turkish Airlines already uses our end-to-end portfolio of training services, including cadet training, type-rating and pilot sourcing, we are proud that it is now turning to CAE for its simulation equipment needs.
