Arpana Mahila Vokkuta, Karkala Taluka on 06 March 2018. 2. Bhavana Mahila Vokkuta, Kundapura-Byndoor Taluka on 20 October 2018. 3. Inchara Mahila Vokkuta, Kapu Taluka on 21 October 2018. 4. Ujwala Mahila Vokkuta, Brahmavara Taluka on 31 October 2018. 5. Sharadhi Mahila Vokkuta, Udupi Taluka on 05 November 2018. Objective 3 In Shirva Deanery 145 women; Karkala Deanery 184 women; Kundapura Deanery 132 women; Udupi Deanery 113 women and in Kallianpura deanery 156 women participated in the above mentioned grass root level Local Governance.Out of the enrolled 6,726 women 730 women have participated in the grass root level governance, which comes to 10.85%. The SHG leaders actively participate in the discussions held during these meetings, and also avail a good number of facilities available to them. Objective 4 There were 71 women members in Grama Panchayath and one woman is a member of the Taluk Panchayath last year. During this year in the by-election for Grama Panchayath held in Kundapura Taluka 3 women are elected Panchayath members. The total tally goes up to 74 women representatives in Grama Panchayat. Objective 5: Basic preparations have started to achieve this goal. Visited Sthree Bandhu Multipurpose society, Shivamogga with a team to have in-depth study of the Society and Bank in December 2017. In 2018 during the meetings deeper discussion has been conducted and necessary information is collected. Goal 3: Objectives 1: On 18 August 2018, 28 selected women leaders from 05 deaneries were given one day training with group discussion, presentation skills etc. so that these women can go to the parishes and train women regarding Human Rights and their implications to the women of our society.
