Vis The freshwater red algal order Thoreales has a worldwide distribution and contains two genera, Nemalionopsis with two species, and Thorea with four to 11 species recognized by various researchers. The controversy surrounding the number of Thorea species stems from a lack of discrete morphological characters to define taxa and little molecular data generated to date to inform phylogenetic studies. Previous research focused on morphology, placed most taxa in synonymy with either T. violacea or T. hispida, but also recognized T. zollingeri and T. clavata as distinct, leaving four morphological species in Thorea. Within Nemalionopsis, N. shawii was recognized, but N. shawii forma caroliniana was synonymized with N. tortuosa. A recent molecular study hinted at greater genetic diversity within the Thoreales than shown by the morphologically circumscribed taxa.

Consultation An initial inception workshop to facilitate the participation by key staff from National Government Agencies, University and other stakeholders from Industry was held at the CEPA office. It became apparent that this was also a socialisation of the ABT. The Aichi Biodiversity Targets most relevant to agencies were separated out into Sections 2 & 4 with question/prompts as per the Technical Guidance to assist in the writing process by agency expertise. Data in the form of reports, papers was collated by the lead author In this way each ABT was populated as per the online reporting template The relevant ABTs (Section 4) were redistributed to key persons in line agencies for comments, and input which were then incorporated into a series of drafts. Concurrently all mapping options available on the UNEP and UNBiodiversity Lab site and available within PNG were collated along with other graphics and images.

The GSLV Programme - Phase 4 will enable the launch of 2 tonne class of satellites for Geo- imaging, Navigation, Data Relay Communication and Space Sciences. HIGHLIGHTS ▪ The GSLV Continuation Programme - Phase 4 will meet the launch requirement of satellites for providing critical Satellite Navigation Services, Data Relay Communication for supporting the Indian Human spaceflight programme and the next interplanetary mission to Mars. ▪ The GSLV Continuation Programme - Phase 4 will meet the demand for the launch of satellites at a frequency up to two launches per year, with maximal participation by the Indian industry. ▪ All the operational flights would be completed during the period 2021-24. BACKGROUND ▪ GSLV has enabled independent access to space for 2 tonne class of satellites to Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO). ▪ One of the very significant outcomes of the GSLV Continuation Programme is the mastering of the highly complex cryogenic propulsion technology, which is an essential technological capability to launch communication satellites to GTO. ▪ This has also paved the way for the development of a high thrust Cryogenic engine & stage for the next generation launch vehicle i.e. GSLV Mk-lll. In this protocol we have attempted to deal only with colour flagging of migratory shorebirds. If the principles embodied here are accepted by all bird banding schemes and researchers, it would then be appropriate to also attempt international coordination of colour banding in the East Asian-Australasian Flyway. Definitions For the purposes of this protocol the following definitions apply: Colour marking is a generic term and refers to the use of any coloured mark or device which permits identification of a bird in the field. In this report we use the following terms to describe various forms of colour marking: Colour flagging involves attaching a small plastic colour tab or flag to the leg of the bird. These marks look like a colour band with a trailing tab.
