TRAVEL INFORMATION

It´s easy to travel to the camp. You can fly to Split directly or with one connection-stop on the way. You find budget flights at e.g. Momondo or Seat24. To give you an example: Fly to Split Thursday 20th September and preferably arrive at lunchtime or early afternoon. Take the shuttle bus (runs frequently every hour) from the airport straight to Split bus station just opposite the ferry terminal. Here you can take a ferry (runs frequently) direct to Supetar on Brac (50 minutes). You buy tickets inside the ferry terminal. In Supetar, you take the local bus or taxi to Selca (camp location) or straight to your accommodation. An alternative is to change bus at the bus station in Split and continue to Makarska (beautiful busride) and take the ferry from Makarska direct to Sumartin (camp location).

If you choose a plane that arrives in the evening you may choose to spend the night in magnificent Split. There are many options of cheap and good accommodation near the great Diocletian palace and a lot to see.

Either way, you’ll have to take the shuttle bus from Split airport – to bus station/ferry terminal Split – Price ca 30 Kuna, travel time ca 40 min.

Then you have two options from Split bus station/ferry terminal: Alt 1. Split – Supetar – Sumartin Ferry from Split to Supetar – Price ca 30 Kuna, travel time ca 50 min. Taxi from Supetar to Sumartin – Price ca 250 kuna, travel time ca 35 min.

Alt 2. Split – Makarska – Sumartin Bus from Split to Makarska – Price ca 150 kuna, travel time ca 2-3 hours. Ferry from Makarska to Sumartin. Last ferry is 8 PM – Price ca 30 Kuna, travel time ca 50 min. If you arrive to the port of Sumartin, let us know and we will come and take you to the venue!

AIRPORTS If you go by plane, the closest local and international airports are Split, Dubrovnik and Zadar airport. From the airport you need to take a local bus, rent a car, or take a taxi to the ferryports in Split or Makarska. There is also an airport on the island Brac with direct flights from a few cities in Europe (Brussels, Vienna and others, check link below). From the airport on Brac you can reach your accomodation by local bus or taxi. If you travel by car, bus or train, you need to go to Split or Makarska in central Dalmatia, and from there take a ferry or catamaran to the island of Brac.

Going by plane direct to Brac Airport Brac is open all year long. Charter flights operate only during the summer season. Public transportation is not organized, but the taxi service is available during airport opening hours, 17 km from Selca. Info at: http://www.airport-brac.hr

FERRIES Coming to Croatia you will eventually come to take the Jadrolinija ferries (click the port you are embarking from and to were – either Supetar or straight to Sumartin). If you take the ferry from Split you will arrive in Supetar (ca 50 minutes), if you take the ferry from Makarska you will arrive straight to Sumartin (ca 50 minutes). An alternative is to hire a speedboat taxi from Split or Makarska and head straight for the shore nearest your accommodation. Ferries Split – Supetar (Brac), and Makarska – Sumartin take cars. TRANSPORTATION ON THE ISLAND OF BRAC The municipality Selca is located in the eastern part of the island of Brac, 36 kilometers from Supetar, In municipality of Selca there are three tourist villages: Selca (including the village Puntinak), Sumartin and Povlja.
