This means camps for kids, sports, , and BBQ picnics. We present to you the summer activity guide, and hope you find the information you need. Some items we have worked on is the new GVRD website. It is easier to read on your phone, and we will be making more improvements to it. We will also work on the registration software to help you enroll in classes. Playgrounds in the parks continue to be improved, and interior spaces in our community centers are being upgraded as well. Financially we are doing well, thanks to the community, and Measure K. The Greater Vallejo Recreation District is dedicated to providing recreation and leisure activities for all of Vallejo. Our Therapeutic Recreation Programs were developed to help those living with developmental disabilities enjoy a full range of leisure opportunities. Classes and social events are supervised by GVRD recreation staff members. Staff can assist with enrollment prior to the start of programs. Each client is required to have a caregiver onsite during every activity.
