CHANDLER, Ariz. (July 3, 2019) – Gila River Hotels & Casinos presents an exciting, diverse lineup of entertainment in August featuring comedy, country music, a legendary cabaret performer, and a hot male revue show. Headliners at Wild Horse Pass include George Lopez on Saturday, August 3, Ronnie Milsap on Tuesday, August 6, Wayne Newton on Saturday, August 17, and Chippendales on Friday, August 24. • George Lopez’s multi-faceted career encompasses television, film, standup comedy, and late-night television. Named by Time as one of the 25 Most Influential Hispanics in America, he often finds humor in his difficult childhood and the Mexican-American community in general. His autobiography, “Why You Crying?” was a New York Times best seller, and he recently wrapped up shooting the upcoming crime thriller “The Tax Collector” with Shia LaBeouf and Lana Parrilla. David Ayer wrote the screenplay and directed the film. His ties to Phoenix and Gila River Hotels & Casinos run deep and he recently opened George Lopez’s Chingon Kitchen at Vee Quiva in Laveen.

• Ronnie Milsap is a Grammy award-winning American country music singer and pianist. He was one of country music's most popular and influential performers of the 1970s and 1980s, and many of his songs crossed over to pop, R&B and rock ‘n roll. Hit songs include My Heart, Lost in the Fifties Tonight, It Was Almost Like a Song, Smoky Mountain Rain, (There’s) No Gettin’ Over Me, Any Day Now and Stranger in My House.

• Wayne Newton is a legendary singer and actor who earned several nicknames, including Mr. Las Vegas, The Midnight Idol, and Mr. Entertainment. In addition to performing his greatest hits, Newton often sprinkles in some showbiz stories, giving audience members a glimpse into the ups and downs of his incredible career.
