[23] Wim Hoff Method Wim Hoff Markets System, The Way Wim Hoff (WHM), established alongside his son Enahm Hof. This method includes three pillars: cold treatment, breathing, and meditation. [24] It has similarities with Tibetan meditation Tummo and pranayama, both of which use breathing techniques. [25] Breathing there are many differences in the way you breathe. The basic version consists of three stages as follows: Breathing controlled: the first stage involves 30-40 cycles of breathing. [29] A group of scientists in the Netherlands questioned whether repeated exposure to the harsh cold, as practised in the Wim Hoff method, would have similar effects. The Hoff brothers are identical twins, but unlike Wim, Andre has a sedentary lifestyle without being exposed to severe cold. The scientists forced them to exercise breathing at Wim and then exposed them to the lowest temperature that would not stimulate them to shiver. They concluded that no significant differences were found between the two subjects, suggesting that the lifestyle with repeated exposure to the severe cold did not appear to affect the activity of the best available techniques and CIT. [30] Both were rising from 40% of metabolic rates on the resting rate, in a maximum of 30% observed in young adults. However, the proportion of brown fat - although high in their age - was not enough to take into account all this increase. The rest was due to their strong breathing, which increased metabolic activity in the respiratory muscles. The researchers warn that the results should be interpreted with caution given the low number of subject and the fact that both participants practiced g-Tummo technique such as breathing. [29] The relevant g-Tummo involves a special breathing accompanied by meditation, which includes mental images of fire in certain locations in the body. There are two types of breathing, strong and gentle. A scientific study found that only a strong species leads to an increase in body temperature, and that meditation is required to maintain an increase in temperature. [31] The immunosuppressor peter bakers and phD student Matthias Cox of Radboud University Medical Center in the Netherlands took blood samples from Hoff before and after his breathing, meditation and a full-body ice bath for 80 minutes, and then found that levels of proteins associated with immune response had decreased. [26] The Injection of Bakers and Cox B Indoxiin usually stimulates rapid immune response. Most subjects responded with flu-like symptoms (fever, headache, tremor), with infected cells releasing signal proteins called cytokines. On the other hand, Hoff did not have any flu-like symptoms and half the number of cytokines such as control subjects. Moreover, after training some volunteers for a week, they also had reduced symptoms. [26] Bakers and Cook attributed the effect on the immune system to a stress-like response. In the hypothalamus, stress messages from the brain lead to the release of adrenaline, which increases blood pumping and releases glucose, both of which can help the body cope with an emergency. It also suppresses the immune system. In Hove and trained subjects, the adrenaline release was higher than it would be after the first person Panji Jump.
