Please retain instructions for future reference. Auto Darkening Welding Helmet Description Fully automatic variable shade 9-13 cartridge switches from light to dark on striking arc. Fitted with solar power panel and two replaceable AAA batteries. Features sensitivity and delay speed control for switching from dark to light. This helps to prevent arc eye when welding at high power, while still providing fast switching for tack welding. Deluxe contoured helmet design gives full neck protection and protects lens from scratching when helmet is laid down. Features comfortable headband and non-slip quick-release ratchet mechanism. Both the User Instructions and this addendum include important warnings and use limitations that must be read and understood before using any 3M™ Speedglas™ Welding System. Failure to do so may result in sickness or death. • Do not use any welding product without appropriate training. For proper use, see supervisor or User Instructions or call 3M in U.S.A.1-800-243-4630. In Canada, call Technical Service at 1-800-267-4414. Failure to do so may result in sickness or death. • Always wear ANSI Z87.1-2003 compliant safety spectacles in addition to any welding headgear. Failure to do so may result in permanent eye injury and vision loss.
