Leaving Cork at 0800, we take time to visit the Cliffs of Moher visitor centre and the Burren district. The final stop of the day is Adare, said to be Ireland's prettiest village with its thatched cottages, historic abbeys, castles and manor and is a wonderful place to capture images of Ireland from a time long past. Question: Did you know that the little village of Foynes was the most important airport in the world back in the 1930's as it was the last stop between Europe and America?
