IOOO Akhni in the Famagusta District and Xylotymbou and in the District (hereinafter referred to as " the land "), subject to the restrictions and conditions therein ■ laid down for a period of six months ; And whereas by virtue of Notifications Nos. 580, 1051, and 357 published in Supplement No. 3 to the Gazettes of the 6th June, 1957, 28th November, 1957 and 12th June, 1958, respectively, the Order was extended for further periods of six months up to the 10th December, 1958 ; And whereas the Governor is satisfied that the land should continue to be used for military purposes for a further period of six months :

Gazette : Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers vested in him by Defence Supplement Regulation 64, as set out in the First Schedule to the Supplies and Services No. 2A : (Transitional Powers) () Order, 1946 (which continues in force 9.12.1957. by virtue of the Supplies and Services (Continuance) Order, 1957), His Excellency the Governor has authorized the use of the said land for military purposes subject to the restrictions and conditions laid down in the Order for a further period of six months as from the nth December, 1958.

ORDER UNDER SECTION 5. Cap. 295 In exercise of the powers vested in him by section 5 of the Goats (Free Ranging) Tax Law, His Excellency the Governor hereby orders that the tax payable by the owner in respect of every free ranging goat belonging Cap. 158. to him and enumerated in 1958 under the Sheep, Goats and Pigs (Enume­ 30 of 1956. ration) Law, shall be paid on the 1st January, 1959.
