(gotten into bed) (17:2) • She holds a cup of gold filled with “abominations and impurities” (17:4) • On her head is written this name “Babylon the great, mother of prostitutes and of earth’s abominations.” (17:5) • She is drunk with the blood of the saints, the martyrs of Jesus (17:5) • Multiple kings and kingdoms have come under her seductive influence (17:7-13, 18) • Together these kings will make war on the Lamb, but the Lamb will conquer them, because he is the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
