LOCATION

Polmassick is a beautifully situated rural hamlet surrounded by miles of unspoilt countryside and encompasses just a handful of attractive historic properties in a tranquil part wooded valley. The nearest village is which is within walking distance with a 14th Century church and the well known Crown Inn. All Saints Church is also one of the oldest major Cornish churches approached through an ‘avenue of palms’ and having some fine carvings and interesting monuments. Hugh Attwell who was rector at St Ewe from 1559 to 1615 was also a herbalist who enjoyed a reputation of being magician because of his high success rates.
