Several cladograms using the complete species sample, but obtained with different weightings, are presented. Local studies were also carried out to provide possible alternate topologies. The deep nodes of the trees were unstable and were never supported, but most of the superficial nodes were stable and robust. The results therefore provide support for a generic classification of the subfamily. The large genus Eurytoma – which includes about half of the described species of the subfamily – proved to be polyphyletic, and is redefined in a nar- rowed sense using putative synapomorphies. Bruchophagus and Prodecatoma were similarly redefined. The genera Philolema and Aximopsis are reconsidered and defined in a broader concept. A number of the species presently included in Eurytoma were transferred to these genera. Finally, 22 new generic synonymies are proposed and 33 spe- cies are transferred. The study also demonstrates that the Eurytomidae are polyphyletic. The results strongly sup- port a sister-group relationship between the Heimbrinae and the Chalcididae. The Rileyinae consist of two groups of unrelated taxa. A redefinition of the subfamily in a more restricted sense is supported by our results. The remain- ing group, consisting of the traditional Rileyinae, is included in the subfamily Buresiinae. Considered in this way they comprise the genera Buresium and Macrorileya, the latter being a senior synonym of Archirileya. The Buresi- inae appear as the sister group of the Eurytominae. We propose to restrict the family Eurytomidae to these two taxa. This sister-group relationship provides evidence to polarize the biological habits within Eurytominae. The common ancestor of Buresiinae is presumed to parasitize insects (mostly at the egg stage) living in grass stems. © 2007 The Linnean Society of London, Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society, 2007, 151, 441–510. Ashmead (1904) described 23 new genera and erected the tribes Axi- mini, Eurytomini, Isosomini, Rileyini, and Decato- mini, which were accepted by Bugbee (1936). These tribes were raised to subfamily rank (Ferrière, 1950) and maintained by Nikol’skaya (1952), Claridge (1961b), and Peck (1963). Burks (1971, 1979) added Figure 1. Se pretende explicar porqué las relaciones político-diplomáticas y comerciales con Marruecos se intensificaron y avanzaron en el sentido de una convergencia político-comercial, a pesar del descenso del perfil de las relaciones argentino-africanas en la política exterior argentina. The rose aphid has a wide distribution, feeding on roses throughout the USA. Rose aphids are soft-bodied, pear-shaped insects, approximately 0.63 cm or 1/4 inch in length. They can vary in color from green to pink to red. Rose aphids have two tubes (called cornicles) that protrude out from the end of abdomen, which is where alarm pheromones are emitted. Rose aphids overwinter as eggs on rose canes. Rose aphids generally initiate feeding on roses in early spring as the new flush of growth emerges. They feed on plant fluids within the phloem sieve tubes (food-conducting tissues) with their piercing-sucking mouthparts. Similar to other aphid species, rose aphids tend to congregate or cluster in large numbers feeding on the terminal growth including leaves and stems, and developing flower buds, and on leaf undersides. Their feeding causes leaves to curl downward and deforms flower buds, which may result in flower buds aborting or falling off prematurely before opening. In addition, aphids produce honeydew, which is a clear sticky liquid exudate emitted during feeding. Honeydew attracts ants, wasps, hornets, and serves as a growing medium for black sooty mold fungi.

This paper provides data on distribution of 13 chalcid wasp species (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea: Chalcididae) belonging to 9 genera and Received: 30 June, 2016 three subfamilies Chalcidinae, Dirhininae and Haltichellinae from Hormozgan province, southern Iran. All collected species are new records for the province. Accepted: Two species Dirhinus excavatus Dalman, 1818 and Hockeria bifasciata Walker, 13 July, 2016 1834 are recorded from Iran for the first time. In the present study, D. excavatus Published: is a new species record for the Palaearctic region. An updated list of all known 13 July, 2016 species of Chalcididae from Iran is also included.     Athens Journal of History - Volume 3, Issue 4 – Pages 321-336 The Portuguese Art of War in Northern Morocco during the 15th Century By Vitor Luís Gaspar Rodrigues This paper not only reviews the motives underlying the Portuguese expansionist project in Morocco in the 15th century, but also the political, economic, and particularly the social reasons that were in the basis of the Portuguese art of war in Morocco in that period. During the Iberian Reconquest (Reconquista), warfare was usually practiced by means of cavalcades, raids (razias) and ambushes, alongside with some siege actions. We will try to demonstrate that the Portuguese were forced to adopt a model of restricted territorial occupation and repeat the same technics and tactics of combat in Morocco, chiefly based on guerrilla war (guerra guerreada), as well as on siege and privateering actions, either offshore or onshore, by means of amphibian landings (saltos). We will also approach some of the changes that occurred in the defence systems of the Portuguese strongholds in North Africa, particularly at the turn of the 15th to the 16th centuries, as a result of the need to respond to the new challenges by the Moroccan armies equipped with fire weaponry. From these organisms, which 15 of parasitoid species were found, those species belonging to 5 families in of the order Hymenoptera (Ichneumonidae, Chalcididae, Eulophidae, Elasmidae, Pteromalidae). Nine of these, in which there were 9 of were ichneumonid wasp species: Xanthopimpla flavolineata, Goryphus basilaris, Xanthopimpla punctata, Itoplectis naranyae, Coccygomimus nipponicus, Coccygomimus aethiops, Phaeogenes sp., Atanyjoppa akonis, Triptognatus sp. We discuss the general biology, habitat preferences, and host association of the knowledge of three of these parasitoids, (Xanthopimpla flavolineata, Phaeogenes sp., and Goryphus basilaris). Including general biology, habitat preferences and host association were indicated and discussed.

Therefore, in this region, earthquake- induced tsunami hazard has been intensively investigated leading to the development of a number of coastal inundation models. However, tsunami vulnerability remains not well understood to the same extent as the hazard. In this study, we use high-resolution numerical modeling, detailed field survey and GIS-based multi-criteria analysis to assess the building tsunami vulnerability and its sensitivity to the tide variations. Asilah located in the northwestern Atlantic coast of Morocco, where the impact from the 1755 tsunami is well documented, constitutes the area of this study. Results: To model the source-to-coast tsunami processes we used the COMCOT (Cornell Multi-grid Coupled Tsunami Model) numerical code on a set of bathymetric/topographic grid layers (640 m, 160 m, 40 m and 10 m resolutions) with an initial sea-surface perturbation generated using Okada’s formulae and assuming an instantaneous seabed displacement. The tsunami source models in this study correspond to four 1755-like earthquake scenarios. Results show that Asilah’s built environment is highly vulnerable to the tsunami impact that can range from 1.99 to 2.46 km2 of inundation area, depending on the source and the tidal level considered.
