[email protected] www.invisibletheatre.com FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Invisible Theatre Concludes its 45th Anniversary Season with I OUGHT TO BE IN PICTURES by Neil Simon April 19 – May 1, 2016 (March 28, 2016, Tucson, Arizona); IT concludes its 45th Anniversary Season with I OUGHT TO BE IN PICTURES by Neil Simon. This heartfelt comedy directed by Susan Claassen and Fred Rodriguez features David Alexander Johnston, Susan Kovitz, and Lucille Petty. It tells the story of Herb, a Hollywood scriptwriter currently "at liberty", who is surprised when his forgotten past reappears in the form of Libby, his teenage daughter. Libby trekked from Brooklyn to LA with dreams of movie stardom. With Steffy, his sometime paramour at his side, Herb decides to take another stab at fatherhood and hopefully this time, get it right. How they pick up the pieces of a father daughter relationship is a poignant, tender and nevertheless very funny story. This production is made possible in part through the generous support of the Milton and Elizabeth Kahn Philanthropic Fund "Terrific...sweet, dandy and touching... a mature, memorable play that brings joy to the season." - New York Post I OUGHT TO BE IN PICTURES will play from April 19 – May 1, 2016 with the official press opening on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. The Invisible Theatre is located at 1400 N. First Avenue (at Drachman), Tucson, AZ 85719.
