Martina Caruso is the best female chef of the year for the prestigious Michelin Guide 2019.

Martina is the young talent of the Aeolian culinary scene, acclaimed by critics and awarded with a star from the Michelin Guide as one of the top performers of high cuisine. Dreamer, passionate, scholar, expresses an innovative style, full of impetus that contemplates lightness, creative flair and mastery of technique.

The Aeolian Mediterranean is exalted by her through a clever game of balance and dynamism. Martina is able to appreciate every single nuance with great care and attention. Chef Massimo Mantarro

He started working at the San Domenico Palace Hotel in 1991, and over the years, thanks to his publication and his passion for culinary innovation, he was promoted to Sous Chef.

After some important work experiences with several Michelin- starred chefs, in 2003 he became Executive Chef at the San Domenico Palace, and a year later the Principe Cerami gourmet restaurant was inaugurated.

At Principe Cerami he received awards from the most important national food guides, and in 2008 he was awarded the first star of the Michelin Guide, he won the Gambero Rosso award “Best Emerging Chef” of 2011, and in 2012 he obtained the second star of the famous red guide. Service and Excursion
