GCG has the responsibility of approving sanctions, assignments and completing the FIG registrations. All communication for these events is to be done through GCG. FIG JUDGES: For fully funded events, GCG is responsible for arranging the travel for assigned judges. The competitions with a FIG # count towards a judge’s eligibility to upgrade for the next cycle. It is essential that the event fulfills the judge requirements for that particular competition. To maintain or upgrade judge levels a judge must satisfy the required number and level of competitions as well as achieve the mandatory test results for the next cycle. Refer to provisional FIG general judge’s rules distributed January 15 2016. FIG DEADLINE DATES: Due to the time difference GCG is required to send on-line registrations & payments one day prior to the FIG deadline. NOTE: Wire bank transfer payments require a week to process. Fines for Late provisional: 500 CHF Fines for Late definitive: 750 CHF (Includes Entry Fees, Accommodation & Meal Forms & Payments) Fines for Late nominative: 500 CHF (Includes Travel Forms) Unless otherwise noted. YEARLY TRAINING PLANS: Prior to assignment approval, coaches are required to provide a draft of their athletes Yearly Training Plan. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. All participants are responsible for reading the Directives for the event they are attending. If you have questions contact Teresa Orr, RG NTD or Brihana Mosienko, RG Program Coordinator 2. Grand Prix, World Cups and World Championships require minimum Brevet III. Other events generally Brevet IV. 3. Judge assignments will be funded according to the GCG RG NT Program and budget. Travel will be arranged by GCG. 4. No assignments will be given or sanctions approved to any participant with outstanding invoices owing to GCG 5. Gymnastics Canada will coordinate and complete the on-line registrations, forms, payment & travel info for all members of the NT team unless otherwise noted. 6 All Self-funded expenses will be invoiced to the individual by GCG at the time of Definitive Registration, and are payable by credit card or check prior to Nominative Registration unless otherwise noted. 7. Minors who travel alone are required to have a GCG Travel Consent Form. 8. All FIG events are limited to NT members or potential NT members that have been approved by the NTD or designate. 9. All gymnasts attending FIG events must be in possession of a FIG License. Note: Applications and renewals will be administrated by GCG. Gymnasts use the same FIG License card throughout their gymnastics career. Renewals are done electronically by GCG. Gymnasts are responsible for lost card charges. 10 Judges must bring their Log Book to all FIG events & are required to email a GCG Judge report within 3 weeks of the event. 11. National Team members (athletes and coaches) are required to wear the current GCG National Team uniform at official National Team assignments. For all other international events they are representing their club and therefore are to wear their club uniform. *All Directives for FIG Events can be found on the FIG website.
