Co-Chairman Ann Wennerberg, (Sweden) In conjunction with the Scientific Committee and the EAO Board, we have put together a programme that we hope will be both thought-provoking and highly relevant to your daily practice. SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE Our clinical work today is based on half a century’s experience of placing Tord Berglundh, (Sweden) osseointegrated implants. The programme for the meeting in Stockholm Ronald Jung, (Switzerland) reflects the progress we have made over the last 50 years, while at the Jose Manuel Navarro, (Spain) same time focusing on current and emerging techniques. There is a strong Irena Sailer, (Switzerland) emphasis on practical, clinical messages that you can use in your daily Henning Schliephake, (Germany) practice. We hope this combination of historical perspective and cutting- Søren Schou, (Denmark) edge techniques will ensure there is something of relevance for everyone. Tommie Van De Velde, (Belgium) During the 2014 EAO meeting in Rome, a new format was introduced. The meeting in Stockholm will build on this, with the addition of extra features designed to facilitate the learning experience and engage participants ABSTRACT COMMITTEE throughout. Chairman A scientific meeting is of course much more than just the scheduled Bjarni Pjetursson, (Iceland) sessions. It is also an opportunity to share views with colleagues and to socialise. We very much hope you will consider bringing your partner or Vice Chairmen family with you to Stockholm. The city has a huge amount to offer, and Irena Sailer, (Switzerland) we are certain that you and your guests will go home with memories to Ralf-Joachim Kohal, (Germany) treasure.
