Studio 2 Studio 2 is another amazing space, fully equipped the same way as Studio 1, plus an 8 metre high ceiling with aerial point attachments throughout, makes studio 2 another world-class dance space. Graduates of this program are robustly competitive and are positioned on the forefront of the performing arts industry. An incredibly diverse range of career options are available to the graduate artist. Training for the world-class performer, a physically intense program with abundant opportunities in all facets of the performing arts industry.

Graduates leave with a higher recognition credential allowing an easier transition to University should they wish to take this path.

Acceptance is by audition across multiple genres of dance. Students concentrate their training specifically in dance genres with a focus on the technical & professional skills required for an outstanding, long-term career in the Contemporary & Commercial Dance Industries.

Duration: 3 years full-time *includes Certificate IV in Dance : CUA40113 (1st year) *includes Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) : CUA50113 (2nd year) *acceptance directly into 2nd or 3rd year by audition

Training Days: Classes are on Monday-Friday, starting at 9am. Times may vary, depending on the individual’s program. We operate in normal NSW public school term times. UNPARALLELLED Entry is by audition. Minimum age: 17 years old as at 1 January 2020 (birth certificates need to be sighted). TRAINING & GUIDANCE Dance training experience is necessary. This course offers a highly advanced level of intense coaching, specifically focussed on acrobatics & aerial live performance.

A guided career pathway for performers, the Acrobatics & Aerial Fulltime course gives you every opportunity toexpand your skills, nurture your versatility & explore your artistic self-expression. All Diploma students are trained in all aspects of the performing arts, to ensure their versatility & suc- cess. This one year fulltime foundation year is an exciting introduction into fulltime vocational performing arts training for students who aim to become professional performers.

This course is for dancers as young as 15 years of age, who have completed Year 10 or the equivalent. Primal DANCE COMPANY Primal Dance Company works year-round, directly out of the Lee Academy building.

The company is comprised of graduates that are professional dancers & some current students that are at a professional level. Primal Dance Company was founded to give Lee Academy students who are ready for professional work a platform in which to use their skills and share their passion and devotion to dance with the wider community. Working in the areas of commercial, contemporary, musical theatre, circus arts & theatrical dance. Primal Dance Company’s choreographers create original, technical and passionate productions which are for showcase throughout Australia & on the world stage.

Lee Academy Fulltime students have the unique opportunity to watch rehearsals that are closed to the public & also participate in professional development workshops & a secondment season if successful by audition. Auditions for permanent roles in the company are advertised when a position arises, Lee Academy graduates are welcomed to audition for the company at these times.

Primal Studios incorporates multiple & adaptive creative spaces designed to give clients plenty of options when it comes to the look and style of photo shoots.

Professional photographers Damian & Lauren Tierney bring their styles together to provide unique & treasured images to all their valued clients. Utilising both Nikon & Canon professional camera systems with a large range of specialty lenses and accessories including both high speed studio and high speed location lighting, they ensure that LA Fulltime dancers are captured at their best, each & every time. Lee Academy students have the unique opportunity to take part in dance shoots with Damian Tierney, who is internationally recognised for his outstanding work with dancers.
