Ready, Steady, Wiggle! – Series 1 and Series 2 are the premiere series from the new Wiggles line-up featuring brand new songs, along with fresh interpretations of Wiggles favourites. Anthony, Lachy, Simon and Emma (the first-ever female Wiggle) engage, entertain and inform children with their catchy songs and delightful friends.
The Ready, Steady, Wiggle! programs recognise that children learn best through play and this playful approach is taken in each episode to encourage children to actively engage with ideas.
The two Ready Steady Wiggle! series feature over 120 songs, building upon the unique talent of each of The Wiggles. There are songs performed live and acoustically during the ‘Live at Wiggle House’ segments, and new segments such as ‘Emma’s Dance lessons’, ‘Dressing Up’ and ‘Professor Simon’s Alphabet’.
In the Wiggle House there are new locations such as Lachy’s invention room, Simon’s library, and Emma’s music and dance room, as well as special guests from around the world, including Lou Diamond Phillips, star of over 52 movies including La Bamba.
Of course, The Wiggles are also joined by their familiar friends, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, Wags the Dog and Captain Feathersword, the friendly pirate!
All the material is guided by The Wiggles’ early childhood educational background. The Wiggles and their friends provide a wide range of experiences designed to enhance children’s learning and development. Children are given opportunities to become connected with their environment when they have the chance to broaden their understanding of the world in which they live.
