Here at Hanalani, we have had many successes, and it is our hope that we work together to reach new heights. At Hanalani Schools, our “mascot” is the Royal Strongman, a Hawaiian hieroglyphic symbol of strength, with Christ at its center. It is with this Christ-centered mindset that we proceed in the athletic field - to honor Christ with everything we do, from our practice, competition, to how we treat other athletes, coaches, officials, and ourselves. Whatever your goal is - to learn a new sport, to use sport to build social skills, become a school record holder, compete for a championship, or compete in college - it is our mission to help you reach those goals. 21st Century Community Learning Grants in Mississippi Grantee City Contact Award Year Year One Award Program Description Project JUMP 21st Century Community Learning Center serves students at Barr Elementary School, Jim Hill High School, and Lanier High School in an after-school program and various summer activities including Camp 100 Black Men of Jackson, Inc. Jackson Maxine Lyles 2004 $242,767 100, a seven week summer camp. The Consortium’s proposal is designed to address the needs of a two-county area (Alcorn and Prentiss) served by four public school districts. The project includes after- school and summer academic and enrichment programs Alcorn County School District Corinth Jean McFarland 2004 $448,354 and activities. The Amite County Community Learning Center Program consists of the following Components: Amite County School District Liberty Mary Russ 2004 $199,254 Before- and after-school and summer recess activities. Amory's project provides after-school and summer tutoring, enrichment, and literacy/media nights at all four school sites. VERMONT AGENCY OF EDUCATION Child Nutrition Programs Annual Statistical Report Percent of Students Eligible for Free and Reduced Price School Meals School Year 2013 – 2014 Introduction Free and reduced price meal eligibility data is reported by each school food authority/Supervisory Union annually. A school food authority is a school or school district that is responsible for operating a School Lunch Program and/or a School Breakfast Program. Some schools are included in a school food authority even though they are separate school districts. The eligibility numbers and enrollment figures are for October of the current school year, as reported on the school’s October Claim for Reimbursement. For the purposes of the National School Lunch Program, “eligible” means that a student has submitted an application and been certified as qualifying for free or reduced price benefits based on the Family Size and Income Guidelines published by the United States Department of Agriculture. To be eligible for free meals a family’s income must be at or below 130% of the Federal poverty line. Families whose income falls between 130% and 185% of the federal poverty line qualify for reduced price meals. Eligibility determinations are made at the local level by the food service director, principal, or other person designated by the school administration. The report for 2013-2014 uses the Child Nutrition Programs on-line reporting system. The system has calculated the information for all schools in the system, even those that do not participate in the school lunch program. If a school participates only in the Special Milk Program or only the School Breakfast Program, the report shows only zeros. -
