Abington Senior High School, Abington, PA, 19001 October 2019 It’s October! Th ink Pink! By Rachel Oh Th e start of October signals many things: colder nights, changing leaves, approaching early action/decision deadlines for seniors, and of course, the annual Pink Out football game! Versing Pennsbury this year on October 18th, the night is sure to be fi lled with excitement and is an easy opportunity to express school spirit through a great cause, with a sea of pink shirts swallowing the bleachers and the fi eld every year. Pink Out Shirts, designed by our wonderful Key Club, will be sold during the week of the 18th in Cafe A. However, instead of collecting the profi ts, the Key Club will donate all of the revenue from t-shirt sales to four foundations: Th e Breathing Room, Asplundh Cancer Pavilion, Unite for Her, and Living Beyond Breast Cancer. Th e Breathing Room specializes in supporting and caring for local families aff ected by cancer, while Unite for Her is committed to help women diagnosed with ovarian or breast cancer through free therapy. Living Beyond Breast Cancer provides information and off ers either online or in-person programs to those aff ected by breast cancer, and the Asplundh Cancer Pavilion, associated with Jeff erson Health, is an advanced medical center that personalizes in caring for any type of cancer. From the various missions these foundations strive towards, it’s evident that a $10 shirt can go a long way. Th e game lasts from 7pm-9pm at the Schwarzman Stadium, and it is a fun yet rewarding way to spend a Friday night.

(Ap) - Federal officials said yesterday that a troublesome gas bubble no longer poses any significant danger of explosion at the Three Mile Island nuclear plant, advancing efforts to Bring the disable reactor to cold shutdown. Declaring “the bubble has been eliminated for all practical purposes,’ Harold Denton of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission tola reporters, ‘ T think the danger point is considerably down from where it was a few days ago.” “I would say there is no more bubble at the top of the core... We no longer consider a hydrogen explosion a significant problem,” he said. .“The site remains stable...the bubble poses no further significant safety problem.” Meanwhile, speculation arose that the cripple reactor might , have to be junked, but one NRC official said he doubted that. While Denton, President Carter’s special representative at the scene, held the briefing, tension was casing in the weeklong crisis caused by the worst nuclear mishap in U.S. history. Civil defense official estimated that between 80,000 and 250,000 of the region's 950,000 people had temorarily pulled out, but thousands were returning yesterday and some scnools were reopened. Askea when the emergency would be over at Three Mile Island, Denton said, ‘‘We are right now developing and looking at plans of the most effective way to bring this reactor to a cold shutdown.” He declined to predict exactly when that might be accomplished.

Even as this article is written, controversy rages not only over the cause of his death but also the legacy he has left behind. 2 Michael manifested all that we loved and loathed of our humanity – a desire to restore the innocence of the world and yet a dark inclination towards deviant transgressions. He was very much an enigma that many imitated but few identifi ed with. Although he was a hypersensitive recluse victimized by an abusive childhood, his transformations of physiognomy caused him to be the focus of uninterrupted media attention. He reportedly gave millions to charitable organizations yet left behind an inheritance of debt and lawsuits.

Dokonano po- równania silników graficznych na podstawie badań ankietowych przeprowadzonych na forach internetowych gromadzących fanów elektronicznej rozrywki. • A Web-Based Collaborative Multimedia Presentation Document System
ABSTRACT With the distributed and rapidly increasing volume of data and expeditious de- velopment of modern web browsers, web browsers have become a possible legitimate vehicle for remote interactive multimedia presentation and collaboration, especially for geographically dispersed teams. To our knowledge, although there are a large num- ber of applications developed for these purposes, there are some drawbacks in prior work including the lack of interactive controls of presentation flows, general-purpose collaboration support on multimedia, and efficient and precise replay of presentations. To fill the research gaps in prior work, in this dissertation, we propose a web-based multimedia collaborative presentation document system, which models a presentation as media resources together with a stream of media events, attached to associated media objects. It represents presentation flows and collaboration actions in events, implements temporal and spatial scheduling on multimedia objects, and supports real-time interactive control of the predefined schedules. As all events are repre- sented by simple messages with an object-prioritized approach, our platform can also support fine-grained precise replay of presentations. Hundreds of kilobytes could be enough to store the events in a collaborative presentation session for accurate replays, compared with hundreds of megabytes in screen recording tools with a pixel-based replay mechanism.
