A Gallery of Archetypes
Meta Religion / Psychiatry / Analytical Psychology / (from http://www.meta-religion.com/Psychiatry/Analytical_psychology/a_gallery_of_archetypes.htm) A Gallery of Archetypes From: http://www.myss.com/ThreeArchs.asp The archetypes listed here in boldface type are just a few of the many ancient patterns that exist in human consciousness. Many additional archetypes that are closely related are mentioned in parentheses, such as Hermit (found under Mystic), Therapist (under Healer), or Pirate (under Rebel). Please read through the entire list, looking at all the archetypes in parentheses, before assuming that the one you're looking for isn't here. Naturally, it's impossible to list all the hundreds of archetypes that exist, but these are some of the most common, and include just about all that are mentioned in my book, CD, or tape of Sacred Contracts. If you feel that you have an archetype that isn't found here, please do not hesitate to give it careful consideration, and feel free to include it in your support team. Remember that all archetypes are essentially neutral and manifest in both light and shadow attributes. Accordingly, I have tried to include both sets of attributes for each listing, along with cues to help you determine whether a given archetype may be part of your lifelong support team of twelve. To help you further, I've listed some examples of each archetype as embodied in popular film, fiction, drama, and the world's religions and mythologies. In evaluating whether an archetype is part of your intimate group, pay special attention to whether you can perceive a pattern of influence throughout your history, rather than only isolated or recent incidents. -

1. Hello Everyone! Thank you all for being here today, and for the invitation. I’m very sorry I can’t be there in real life with you all, but I am there in spirit, and excited to talk with you all about my work. 2. My name is Liss LaFleur, and I am an interdisciplinary artist currently working out of Texas. My talk today is titled DYKE CAMP and FUTURE FEMINISM, and it is an overview of some of my artistic practice, influences, and inspirations. This talk will also include some pedagogical oversight, and examples of recent courses I’ve developed at the University of North Texas, where I am currently an Assistant Professor of Studio Art. 3. Before we get started, I want everyone to read a manifesto with me - outloud. Just follow along on the screen. This is titled “We Who Feel Differently” written by Carlos Motta in 2012. Build an agenda Based on the needs of Queer minorites Reject the politics of Assimilation, stop begging For tolerance Welcome the celebration of Sexual and gender diversity Demand The transformation of The system Truly desacralize Democracy and demoralize The judiciary Define our Emotional and sexual Needs on our own terms Value critical difference Instead of false equality Phew- doesn’t that feel good to say out loud? 4. If you are not familiar, Alex Motta is a Columbian artist working out of New York. Through the We Who Feel Differently project, Motta collaborated with multiple people to explore a variety of problems surrounding contemporary queer and LGBT activist communities in the US and abroad. -

First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to my mentor Dr Maria Isabel G. G. Her guidance helped me in all times of research and writing this dissertation. I could not have imagined having a better mentor and advisor for this task. A special thanks to my family, for the continuous support, encouragement, not only during the making of this thesis but also throughout all my academic path. Finally, I thank my João, for always being there. v vi Resumo O presente estudo visa compreender a o significado, relevância e o impacto do uso da metáfora ‘queen bee’ (QB) na literatura sobre género e organizações. -

Sarah Crofton Winsor Sugar and Spice: the Hidden World of Pre-Adolescent Female Aggression ABSTRACT This thesis proposes that relational theory offers an appropriate and effective framework for both prevention and intervention in situations of covert bullying behavior among pre-adolescent females. After a review of recent literature about the phenomenon of pre-adolescent female bullying, the thesis describes the relational theory advocated by feminist psychology professionals in the last thirty years as an alternative understanding of female social and emotional development that contrasts with the previously dominant male-based paradigm. Following the suggestions of relational theorists, the thesis proposes a new understanding of the specific covert bullying behaviors of young girls that is based on insights into their social context and also suggests ways that these behaviors can be detected and prevented while offering girls more constructive and healthy means for life-giving connections.
