I’ve grown up within this company. In 2011, Andrew Upton gave me my first job out of drama school when he invited me to be his Assistant Director on The White Guard. In 2012, he and made me a resident artist, appointing me Directing Associate. In 2013, I was made Resident Director alongside Sarah Goodes. Over the course of my six and a half years working on The Wharf, I’ve worked directly on 18 productions, whilst being witness to the birth of many more. It’s been an extraordinary way to learn about this remarkable company, and has placed me in the fortunate position of having made work with some of the country’s most senior theatre practitioners as well as Robert Menzies and in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
