Bye-bye Bobbie!

NCE honors the retirement of Bobbie Cole, long-time pillar of our ELL program. In her 30 years with NCE, Bobbie has taught reading, writing, pronunciation, grammar, customs, holidays, and even some slang to students from every corner of the globe. She has opened her home and heart to English language learners. Simply teaching was not enough for Bobbie though; over the years, she has hosted over 50 exchange students during their visits to Boston, and she keeps in touch with many of them to this day. Through her caring and commitment, Bobbie has not only helped her students learn English, but has also helped them adapt to life in the greater Boston community. Our wholehearted thanks goes out to Bobbie for her years of dedication to this NCE program and its students. We’re sure she’ll be every bit as successful at whatever she chooses to do next. Bobbie—we’ll miss you, and we wish you the best!
