The commitment of the Company to the VPSHR was formalized in 2009 by Executive Management and Board of Director approval of a corporate-wide Security Policy that explicitly commits the company to be guided in its actions by the VPSHR. Barrick formally applied and was accepted as a member to the VPSHR in 2010.
