Welcome to the Moon... Thank you for purchasing Tranquility Base Mining Colony: The Moon This is the Explorer Version, which encompasses about 17,000 sq. kilometers of realistic lunar terrain. The terrain is a three-dimensional map, using NASA data, which was converted into terrain with a terrain generator. This renders a very realistic rendition of the lunar surface. You will be exploring craters, rilles and mountains as they truly exist on the Moon. You’ll experience the beauty of the Moon, as if you were there. Wait until you see the size of Moltke Crater, 6 kilometers across. You’ll also be able to enter the Tranquility Base Lunar Reserve Visitor Center, which is the gateway to the Apollo 11 landing site. Press “1” to save the score, manually, at any time. 2. Press “2” to load the saved score, manually, at any time. 3. Score is auto-saved when you use “Esc” to quit the game. 4. Score is auto-saved when you press “M” to go to the Main Menu. 5. Each time you enter the game area, you begin a new Expedition. 6. Expeditions are not saved. 7. Expeditions always begin at the Starter Arena. 8. Exiting and re-entering the game area will reset the coins. 9. The score is not reset. 10. View the Coin Map in the Starter Arena. a. The Coin Map shows six areas, along with the value of the Coins within each area. i. 1 Coin ii. 10 Coin iii. 100 Coin iv. 1 Thousand Coin v. 10 Thousand Coin vi. 100 Thousand Coin vii. 1 Million Coin 11. Each of the three craters named after the three Apollo 11 astronauts will have a 1 Million Coin: a. Aldrin Crater b. Collins Crater c. Armstrong Crater 12. Each corner of the game area contains a 1 Million Coin. 13. There are eleven 1 Million Coins. 14. Collect the Coins to increase your Score. 15. Maximum score = 2,145,000,000 SETTINGS: 1. Press “X” to open the SETTINGS Menu: a. ADVANCED b. AUDIO c. VIDEO Advanced: Settings range from: (Scrollbar on right of window) ▪ Low ▪ Medium ▪ High ▪ Epic ▪ Cinematic Audio: Settings range from 0 to 100% ▪ Master: Adjusts the volume of the coins and window buttons. ▪ Music Adjusts the music volume. ▪ Voice: For future use. ▪ Sound FX: Adjusts the volume off the jetpack thrusters. Video: Settings range from: ▪ Window Mode o Window o Fullscreen o Borderless ▪ Resolution: Scrollbar on right of window. o 2560 x 1080 o 1920 x 1080 o 1440 x 900 o 1280 x 900 o 1024 x 768 ▪ Vertical Sync o On-Off: Left-click to select ▪ Frame Rate Limit: Scrollbar on right of window. o 30 FPS: Limits to 30 Frames Per Second. o 60 FPS: Limits to 60 Frames Per Second. o 90 FPS: Limits to 90 Frames Per Second. o 120 FPS: Limits to 120 Frames Per Second. o Unlimited: No Limitations Left-Click on SAVE SETTINGS when prompted Tip: For the best user experience: ▪ Set the ADVANCED & VIDEO settings to the highest level that your computer system will allow without performance issues. ▪ If you experience performance issues reduce some or all of your ADVANCED or VIDEO settings to a lower level. FRAME RATE LIMIT & ANTI-ALIASING are good places to start. You will need to experiment with these to find a combination that best suits your system. Tip: If Game window is Borderless and you wish to move to another monitor follow these steps: 1. Left-Click on NEW EXPEDITION to enter game area. 2. Press “X” to open the SETTINGS Menu 3. Left-Click on VIDEO to open the video settings menu. 4. Left-Click on WINDOW MODE and select WINDOW 5. Left-Click on RESOLUTION and select a lower resolution. 6. Left-Click on SAVE SETTINGS to save the settings. 7. Left-Click and hold on the white Title Bar at the top of the window and drag the window to your desired monitor. 8. Go back to VIDEO SETTINGS to adjust to your desired Resolution level. Tip: Beware of Dead-zones. You will die. .
