Dear Harold Washington College Community,

I am delighted to report that our college is slowly returning to normal. Students and faculty are in the classroom, labs, and tutoring spaces. Staff are on campus assisting students in person and remotely. Every day this week, I ran into members of the college community I had not seen in person for a while. It certainly feels good to see you all in person and witness first-hand the growing activities throughout our campus.

This week we had the pleasure to host the first face-to-face City Colleges of Chicago Board of Trustees meeting in more than one year. We also hosted a delegation from Guanajuato, Mexico, interested in developing educational and workforce opportunities for our students. I want to express my gratitude to our housekeeping staff for helping to coordinate these events and for their thorough cleaning and upkeep of our beautiful campus.
