Some people have now started to move from private vehicles to use public (mass) transportation such as buses, transjakarta, and electric rail trains or commonly known as KRL Commuter Line that serve Jabodetabek routes. The impact of crossing also causes buildup at each station. Train track with a single track (single track) is considered ineffective and inefficient and vulnerable to train accidents due to human error. It is necessary to develop or develop a double track to become a double-double track Bekasi Station km 26 + 652 - Jatinegara Station km 12 + 050. The research location is on the railway line from Bekasi Station to Jatinegara Station. The length of the train track is around 16 km and has 7 stations that are traversed, 5 of which are active (stop) and 2 passive stations. Public transportation is considered to be able to handle several transportation problems, such as “the ancient” traffic congestion to “the contemporary” environmental impact. Rail transit, or also known as commuter rail, is one of the most important public transportation types since it could reduce effectively the traffic congestion. At this instant, service quality of commuter rail is essential to achieve the customer satisfaction. This research aims to assess the operations of commuter rail by assessing its service quality. The importance-performance and gap analysis (IPGA) based on nine criteria was applied to accomplish the objective. A case study was conducted in KRL commuter line of Jakarta Metropolitan Area which is operated by P.T. Kereta Commuter Indonesia. The result shows that the safety criterion has the highest relative importance score and the fare has the highest relative performance score. The IPGA technique then was employed to build strategies based on the relative importance and performance from the passengers’ point of view. 1 Introduction Transportation is believed to be able to influence the growth of the city and its livability since it enables trade between people, which is essential for the development of civilizations. The larger the city, the greater its complexity and the potential for disruptions, particularly when the complexity is not effectively managed.

Kebayoran Railway Station as one of Railway Stations on Tanah Abang – Rangkasbitung railway track, which has been revitalized in 2016. A descriptive approach used in this research and found that currently, Kebayoran Railway Station has been more accessible for persons with disabilities. The results indicate that some disability’s facilities consist of: (a) toilet; (b) safe pick-up and set-down facility; (c) facility for persons with disability; (d) other facility (tactile paving). The Minister of Transportation Decree 47 Year 2014 regarding Minimum Service Standard for Train Public Transportation at Kebayoran Railway Station facilities is one of the guidelines for PT. KAI Commuter Jabodetabek in building facilities in the station. In this case, Kebayoran Railway Station has implemented the Minister of Transportation's Decree and makes it easy for some persons with disabilities to use the facilities at the railway station.
