Improves the connectivity and accessibility in the cross-border area Greece-Bulgaria • 2. Completes the road axis “Xanthi –Rudozem-Smolyan-Plovdiv”, part of TEN-T (Comprehensive Network) • 3. Enhances inter-modal transport through the interconnection of the main Ports (Kavala, Alexadroupoli-Burgas) and the Airports (Plovdiv, Kavala, Alexadroupoli) in Northern Greece and South-east Bulgaria • 4.
