The first performance of ‘We are the Future’ will take place on Friday 12th July as part of Village Green: Next Generation. It will feature learning disabled musicians from The Music Man Project UK, primary school children and special guest performers. The song will continue to be sung by children in the future and be used for similar festivals in years to come. It will be available for children to learn at schools across the country through online teaching resources and a professional recording will be produced as a lasting legacy of the creative process and of the meaning and purpose behind Village Green: Next Generation.
