FY20 has been a challenging but overall rewarding year for PNW. The first nine months saw PNW achieve 15% growth in consolidated revenue on the prior corresponding period (pcp) compared to an 11% decline of the commercial radio ad market in the same period. The COVID-19 pandemic and impact of lockdowns on the economy caused a 52% decline in June 2020 quarter revenues compared with the pcp. Pleasingly the decline has improved significantly in 1Q21 and is in line with expectations. The complementary services divisions continue to be more acutely impacted by the various measures implemented by Federal, State and Territory governments around Australia which prohibit large gathering of crowds and strict social distancing measures.

The discovery of a distressed child wandering in the woods unleashes a terrifying chain of events that test the young couple to breaking point. ©Hypergiant Films Pty ltd, Killing Ground 2017 KILLING GROUND writer/director’s statement KILLING GROUND is a lean, unorthodox genre film inspired by the classic character-driven survival thrillers of the 70s. It all began with the image of a deserted tent, which appeared to me so powerfully that it demanded a story. Thinking about what might have happened to the tent’s missing occupants reminded me of the scary stories we tell around a campfire.

WBugger. So what did the Aussies have to say in their papers? Much to my surprise, they were not impressed. Pity, it made the memory of Paul Gallen mouthing off even more unpalatable. We were home when Shaun Johnson potted the field goal. But then Issac Luke’s try was disallowed a minute later – and I have no issue with that – horrible as it is, he was ahead of the kicker and then encroached the 10 metres. So the Sharks get a penalty and march into the attacking zone. You could not script it. Setting up for a field goal of their own it is charged down and we spill the ball forward, giving the Sharks a chance. Edric Lee goes over in the corner but we all wait for the forward pass to be called. The Bunker can’t rule on forward passes, so the try stands, despite a chorus of booing . That is all she wrote, and we just have to lump it. Coach Stephen Kearney and the players resorted to the old line about win some, lose some. That diplomacy has more to do with not criticising referees, and falling foul of the NRL.
